Solve a specific problem in a day…

Behaviour Lab
An immersive, interactive 1-day experience applying behavioural science to solve a real business issue from your organisation.
We’ll agree the specific focus before the day itself.
What we’ll do
We’ll start the day by unpacking your topic, reviewing the latest and most relevant insights from Anthropology, Behavioural Economics, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Sociology in a fun and interactive introduction.
We’ll then take your problem statement and break it down into specific, observable, measurable target behaviours.
Once we’ve identified the behaviours, we’ll uncover the organisational & psychological barriers to those behaviours, by asking “what gets in the way?”
Armed with those insights, we’ll explore real-life behavioural science interventions from across the globe, before designing some of our own, tailored to your specific context.
What you’ll get
- Practical science-backed solutions you can apply straightaway
- An understanding of the barriers to change in your organisation
- A new way of looking at organisations and behaviour
- An immersive, interactive, thought-provoking 1-day experience
- A summary report including:
- Agreed problem statement
- Identified target behaviours
- Organisational & psychological barriers
- Long-list of behavioural interventions
Logistics
No matter what we like to think, we humans are a social, emotional, tribal, storytelling species and we didn’t evolve to interact on video calls.
This session is designed to run the old fashioned way: in-person, face-to-face, in a room. The science is clear: it works better that way.
Dive deeper into a more complex problem…

Behaviour Sprint
An intensive 4-week project, diving deep into a behaviour change challenge of your choice.
What we’ll do
We’ll start by understanding your context and unpacking your behavioural challenge. We’ll review the latest and most relevant insights from Anthropology, Behavioural Economics, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Sociology and identify useful case studies from other organisations and industries.
We’ll then take your problem statement and break it down into specific, observable, measurable target behaviours, with potential measurement approaches for each.
Through a combination of individual interviews, focus groups, data analysis, and where possible, direct observation, we’ll uncover the organisational & psychological barriers to the target behaviours.
Armed with those insights, we’ll explore real-life behavioural science interventions from across the globe, before designing some of our own, tailored to your specific context. We’ll work with you to prioritise and refine the interventions and develop a practical implementation approach and sequence.
What you’ll get
- A detailed understanding of the barriers to behaviour change in your organisation
- A range of practical interventions you can apply
- A new way of looking at organisations and behaviour
- A detailed report including:
- Agreed problem statement
- Identified target behaviours
- Organisational & psychological barriers
- Long-list of behavioural interventions
- Short-list of prioritised behavioural interventions
- Implementation & measurement approach
- Summary of relevant science with references & further reading
Logistics
The behaviour sprint can be conducted remotely, in-person, or as a hybrid of the two.
However, it’s worth stressing that while not always possible or appropriate, immersion in your context and direct observation of your people and their situation leads to better results.
